Missional communities at City-Wide Redeemer are medium-sized groups of 30-50 people which provide the ideal environment for building relationships and making mature followers of Christ who are connected to the heart and mission of God. A missional community strives to form it's activities around three goals: 1) growth in knowledge of God and relationship with Him; 2) learning and practicing hospitality with others in an effort to form true community; and 3) engaging the world around us with our lives as we join Christ Jesus in the renewal of all things.

Missional communities are organized around a shared mission to serve a neighborhood or industry. City-Wide Redeemer has recently formed its first missional community, Aliante Blue Star. This community of Jesus followers has begun the process living out their faith in such a way as to show God's love to the families of deployed military personnel. They gather twice monthly for times of prayer, discussion, planning, service, and celebration. Anyone is welcome to join the group and participate at any level. Visit the google-group page for Aliante Blue Star to learn more about what's planned for this month and to invite youself into the google-group to receive regular updates.
